Nestled in Llanbedr, a small village that lies in the valley between two of the Brecon Beacons most famous mountains, Sugarloaf and Table Mountain. The village has 360 degree access to the Black Mountains which although rural, has it’s own amenities with a local 16th century pub “The Red Lion” just a stones throw away.
Our cottage is in an ideal location to base yourself for an activity holiday or break. Crickhowell is a hub for Mountain Walking, Cycling, Mountain Biking and touring the Brecon Beacons & Black Mountains. Here are just a few things that you can do in the area.
Only two miles of walkable distance away is the market town of Crickhowell which is renowned for its excellent independant shops, cafe’s and of course pubs.
Awarded “UK’s Best” in the Great British High Street Awards 2018, there’s good quality butchers, bakery, grocer, newsagent, general store, bookshop, outdoor adventure shop, fashion shops, pubs and cafes and family run department store.
The town and its surrounding villages have attractions that are enticements for all visitors to this wonderful corner of Wales.
